The Holy Spirit Creates a Passion for the Lord in the Hearts of His People. On the road to Emmaus, the resurrected Lord Jesus talks with two disciples who describe their hearts as “burning within us” (Luke 24:32). After the apostles received the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, they had a passion for the Lord that lasted a lifetime and compelled them to speak the Word boldly (Acts 4:31).
The Holy Spirit Produces Purity in the People of God. One of the main aims of the Holy Spirit is to produce purity in Christians, and the Church, since God’s purpose is to purify them (Titus 2:14). The Holy Spirit is the primary agent in the sanctification of the people of God.

Spirit Led: Christ Jesus Transforms Us to be Authentic
Be Authentic
Our Lives Must be Sincere
Let these passages of Scripture resonate in your heart.
2 Corinthians 6:4-6: “Instead, as God’s ministers, we commend ourselves in everything: by great endurance, by afflictions, by hardships, by difficulties, by beatings, by imprisonments, by riots, by labors, by sleepless nights, by times of hunger, by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love.”
2 Corinthians 11:3: “But I fear that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds may be seduced from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.”
1 Timothy 1:5: “Now the goal of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.”

Spirit Led: Transformational Change through Taking Action
Transformational change
Transformational change takes place in three areas:
1. Self-awareness: it’s however you want to see yourself. For example, owning a business or being aware of who you are in Christ.
2. Mindset: our lives are our thoughts. For instance, let go of self doubt but instead doubt your limits and not yourself.
3. Taking action: adapt your behaviors to make change permanent. Our minds are crafty they like to do things in routine through our neuropathways. For example, to change our behaviors we have to beat down the new pathway then our brains will forget the old pathways of limiting beliefs.
Fear comes up every time there’s a change. Fear stands for false events appearing real. Fear is an emotion that we can manage wisely. Our brains likes to do the same things and change is risky.
You deal with change by leaving it where it is and realize it’s an emotion but I can be courageous and persistent.
Ask yourself this every time you face fear: How will I feel when I ignore the fear and do it anyway? How will I feel If I never try?
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Spirit Led: Overcoming Your Fears Through the Word of God
Overcoming Your Fears
The Bible can be an amazing source of encouragement in the most fearful moments of life. We are heartened to trust in the love of God and pursue the righteous teachings of his Word, especially when we feel afraid or anxious. There are many examples in scripture of biblical figures overcoming fear to accomplish magnificent feats.
Isaiah 41:13 For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?”

The point being made is that God has deliberately chosen something fragile and unimpressive. Why would God keep this great treasure in such vulnerable containers? Paul says God wants to show that the power of His glory is from Him. He leaves no room to suggest that power comes from Paul or any other human being. The power of the gospel is so overwhelming that it is not limited by the quality of its container. God displays His limitless power and glory by distributing it through limited and common human vessels.

John 14:26 – “But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
Romans 8:11-14 – “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

Though some Christians have known God through the forgiveness of Jesus Christ for years, they may not be aware of what it means to seek God and what He expects of those called by His name. To be a Christian is to be a follower, an imitator, of Jesus Christ. We must pursue God, love Him, and serve Him the way our Lord and Savior has modeled for us.
Hebrews 11:6
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.” There are two things revealed here: First, there is the source of the enemy’s strength; and, second, there is the nature of the Christian’s attack.
One of the chief rules of warfare is, know your enemy. The second rule of warfare is, know your weapons. Know what you have to meet the enemy with, and know how to use them. We must take time to look at them carefully and understand what they mean.
